About Our Firm

Chui & Lau was founded in May 1987 when Mr. Norman Chui entered into partnership with Mr. Stephen Lau Wing Keung. For nearly 30 years, we have been devoted to serving the needs of our clients in Hong Kong, Mainland China and across the globe. Our clients base ranges from multinational conglomerates and local listed companies to SMEs and individuals. We have developed strong and trusted relationships with our clients, with whom we grow and excel together.

The merger with Robert Chan & Associates in 1997 brought another experienced solicitor, Mr. Robert Chan Hung Yuen, to our firm and strengthened the ranges of services offered to our clients. Robert Chan was a partner of our Firm for the period from 1997 to May 2002. He became a consultant of our firm since June 2002.

At Chui & Lau, we have a team of legal professionals who are qualified to practice in Hong Kong and other common law jurisdictions. Our lawyers are fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin, with extensive knowledge and experience as diverse as our clients. We offer efficient and professional services to help our clients navigate through the complexities of the legal landscape.

We also provide a full range of notarial services for documents to be used in the PRC and other jurisdictions. In addition to being fully qualified solicitors, Mr. Norman Chui, Mr. Mike Siu and Mr. Robert Chan are China-Appointed Attesting Officers, while Mr. Norman Chui, Mr. Stephen Lau and Mr. Mike Siu are Notary Public of Hong Kong.
